Worm living in the eye of a boy for a month removed

A 3-cm long worm living in the eye of a 17-year-old boy named Jamie in Peru was successfully removed by doctors.

Doctors at the National Children’s Hospital in Lima, Peru, treated Jamie, a 17-year-old boy who had a swollen and sore left eye.

According to reports, the worm got to the boy's eyes after he was bitten by a mosquito while sleeping.
